The Back Nine SW Austin is a 24/7, self-service facility. There is no staff onsite, so we’ve designed the process to make getting in and getting started simple.
1. Book Your Tee Time
Members and public guests book online and choose from the available tee times for Bay 1, 2 or 3. You’ll receive a confirmation by email and text as long as your email and phone number are provided.
2. Get Your Door Access
One hour before your tee time, we’ll send you an email and text with a link that unlocks the front door using your phone. The link becomes active 15 minutes before your tee time and remains active throughout your reservation.
3. Head to Your Bay & Play
You may arrive up to 15 minutes early. Head to the bay you reserved, but please don’t disturb anyone finishing the reservation before yours. At your scheduled start time, the bay is yours. If the projector is off, turn it on with the white remote and you’re ready to use the Full Swing simulator.
4. When You’re Finished
Exit your Full Swing game when your reservation ends. If nobody is waiting to use the bay after you, turn off the projector using the white remote—press the power button once, then press it again when the power-off message appears.
Bring your own clubs and clean white golf balls. Colored, marked or dirty golf balls can damage the simulator screens.
Use the simulator tees provided in each bay. Please do not use regular golf tees.
Hit only from the designated hitting area. Always direct shots toward the impact screen. Avoid unusually high flop shots, trick shots, or other shots that could send balls into the surrounding equipment.
Be mindful of the tracking cameras. Each bay has four wall-mounted cameras near the screen that are essential to simulator accuracy. A golf ball striking one of these cameras can knock it out of alignment and affect shot measurements.
Leave balls caught in the overhead netting. Please do not attempt to knock them loose with a club, as they can fly into nearby equipment. Please leave them in place and let us know so we can retrieve them.
Food and drinks are welcome. Feel free to bring your own food and beverages, but please keep them away from the simulator electronics.
Please leave the bay as you found it. Clean up after yourself and be respectful of other golfers, the facility and the equipment. If you notice any equipment damage or issues, please let us know promptly.
Facility security. For everyone’s safety and the protection of our equipment, security cameras monitor the facility, and we maintain records of all reservations.
Our facility may be self-service, but you’re not on your own. If you have questions about booking, memberships, accessing the facility or using the simulators, reach out and we’ll be happy to help
